transit diary: uranus in taurus—from good girl to bad bitch (+ a uranus in gemini preview)
a reflection on Uranus in Taurus and an introduction on it's movement into Gemini

I’ve found that one of my favorite ways to discuss the nuances of transits is through sharing personal anecdotes, even if they may involve somewhat revealing or sensitive personal details. What can I say? I’m a first-house Mercury, LOL. Uranus’s near completion of its stay in Taurus has inspired me to start a new branch in my astrological sharings, a digital transit diary, if you will, for you, my dear readers, to hear a more tangible and real-life deconstruction of different transits and activations, in the hopes that it may inform your own reflection process and perhaps connect dots that are hard to tie together through analysis alone. No matter how many charts I read and how much research I do, I’ve found that my own life has always been the most informative perpetual case study, as it is the only one that I have full access to in terms of both internal and external manifestations of the energies I’m observing.
I initially became interested in astrology in pursuit of self-understanding; I felt a deep sense of disconnect from the world around me and the peer groups I tried numerous times to immerse myself in. For most of my life, I’ve felt like there’s an inside joke that the whole world is in on that I was not included in, and while it felt like a hindrance growing up, I’ve found it to be quite a valuable asset to me now, as it has contributed to the unique perspective that shapes the way I speak, think, and express myself. This is not said from a place of self-exile or self-alienation, but rather, from a place of neutral self-awareness. What a hallmark Aquarius ascendant experience that is, haha.
Uranus in Taurus has been the first Uranus transit that I’ve experienced in my adult life; it entered Taurus in 2018 when I was seventeen and will officially conclude its agenda there a short while after my twenty-fifth birthday. This transit has been full of so many unique experiences, and while many of them have demanded I change through the most uncomfortable of means, I can now observe them from a more holistic perspective, understanding the role that each event played in my becoming process. In this newsletter, I’ll be sharing some of the biggest events of my Uranus in Taurus experience, the takeaways I’m pulling from them, and also the things I anticipate seeing in Uranus’s movement through Gemini, both for my own and our collective experiences. And because of the personal, and somewhat vulnerable, nature of these details, I’ve decided to make my transit diary installments only available to my paid members. <3
As I shared further above, Uranus entered Taurus in 2018, which was interestingly the same year that I got into my first relationship.
