Greetings friends,
While the calendar year is nearly over, we have one more quarter of the astrological year, soon to be initiated by the start of Capricorn season, which is just a week away. I find it interesting that Capricorn season hosts the end of the year and is the time in which we collectively look to the future, constructing plans around how we will achieve longer-term objectives that cannot be quickly attained. We may find ourselves in a considerably larger dreamy state, considering Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, is finishing his stay in Pisces and is inching closer to Neptune, the Lord of Illusion.
This year has been a year of learning and unlearning for many, myself included, and has urged us to recalibrate our nervous systems so that we can curate a more authentic and sustainable lifestyle and lived experience. Many of us have been doing hard work in invisible spaces, and though we may not have tangible proof of our efforts, we should be extremely proud of ourselves.
As you probably read from the title of this email, I’m doing a little giveaway as an end-of-year thank you. Thank you for your presence, engagement, and interest. This year has been rather challenging for me; I have changed quite a lot, and so has my approach to writing, creating, and showing up in the online sphere. As my consistency started to decline, a symptom of the life burnout I’ve spent the past five years trying to evade, everything that was kept at bay from my busyness began to bubble up from a proverbial abyss and into the daylight.
The past year, but more truthfully, the past two years, has been very weird. I’ve felt like I’m going through a slow death, metaphorically speaking, which cannot be accelerated no matter how much I may wish for it to be over sooner. This has unavoidably been reflected by my creative process, or, at times, lack thereof. While this period has been long, like a winter that never lifts, I have been seeing shards of sunlight fragmenting this prolonged overcast. I expect to see it clear in a more concrete and sustainable way upon the departure of Neptune, but more so Saturn, from Pisces, between January and February. I digress; you’re probably wanting to hear the details of this giveaway. But I just wanted to say thank you for your continued interest in my work, voice, and thought process. I am so very excited to discuss 2026 with you all very soon.
